New Frontiers for the Real Estate Industry
The 40th anniversary of the Center for Real Estate offers a unique opportunity to look back and see how far we’ve come as practitioners, researchers, and academics all connected to each other by the dynamic needs of the real estate industry. Through introspection of the past, the platform of the 2024 World Real Estate Forum will offer a lens for focusing on the challenges and innovations for the future of the industry, but also celebrate triumphs.
The panels are designed to be conversations between innovators, industry leaders, and applied researchers – they will explore topics such as:
- How firms are adapting to climate impact predictions
- Meeting the supply demand for more affordable housing in a financially and socially responsible manner
- The financial juncture of remote working
- Vacated office space
- Imaginings for new downtowns; and the perceptions, costs, and benefits of private capital in planning and designing cities
