Adam Dunn, Managing Director (Investment/Sales), Berkadia

Adam Dunn is a Managing Director in the Boston, MA office for Berkadia with over 16 years of experience in commercial real estate and finance. Mr. Dunn specializes in multifamily housing investment advisory and equity placement across New England.

Prior to joining Berkadia in December 2021, he was a Senior Director at JLL. Prior to JLL, he worked in property management operations with Archstone. During his career, Mr. Dunn has been involved in more than $5 billion of transactions and has professionally managed a portfolio of apartments valued at more than $500 million.

Gemma Geldmacher, Managing Director (Mortgage Banking), Berkadia

Gemma Geldmacher is a Boston based Managing Director with Berkadia, specializing in multifamily debt financing with a focus on affordable, agency, and FHA/HUD transactions. She joined Berkadia in 2013 as a senior underwriter for FHA/HUD and has been in Mortgage Banking since 2016. Since then, she has financed $1.6 billion in multifamily and senior housing transactions, encompassing 80 properties. In the last two years, she held the distinction of being the top 1 or 2 FHA/HUD mortgage bankers within Berkadia’s #1 ranked FHA/HUD team.

Ms. Geldmacher brings over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry prior to moving to her loan origination role, including 8 years as an underwriter focusing on multifamily agency and HUD finance, as well as other non-multifamily finance underwriting experience and positions in property management and consulting.

Ms. Geldmacher holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theater Arts from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME. She is and has been involved in many worthy local and national industry organizations, including WAHN (Women’s Affordable Housing Network), CHAPA (Citizens’ Housing and Planning Association), NH&RA, Mortgage Bankers Association, Mortgage Action Alliance, and CREW Boston. She lives in Hingham, MA with her husband and daughter.
