Pamela McKoin, Assistant Director of the Real Estate Program at Sponsors for Educational Opportunity

MSRED alumna Pamela McKoin, is the Assistant Director of the Real Estate Program at Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO). Her mission is to change the face of real estate to become a more diverse and inclusive industry. She has over 30 years of real estate experience in development, asset management, portfolio management, and business development. Her industry experience includes Managing Director at Barings, a global investment management firm with over $300 billion in assets under management, Senior VP at Clarion Partners in asset management and business development. Prior to Clarion, she was a Senior Vice President at The City of New York’s Economic Development Corporation (EDC), managing real estate for the city and she worked in office, industrial, and congregate care development at Spaulding and Slye, a Boston-based real estate development firm. She also ran her own firm, Mac Development Company in Boston, consulting on commercial and residential properties and bidding on development projects. 

Ms. McKoin received a BA from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Center for Real Estate.
