The 2019 John M. Quigley Medal for Advancing Real Estate and Urban Economics was awarded to CRE professor Bill Wheaton. The medal recognizes the many dimensions in which Prof. Wheaton has contributed to real estate, urban economics, public finance, regional science and others.
Recipients of the John M. Quigley Medal have produced a record of scholarship that opens up new avenues of inquiry, have demonstrated record of mentorship of young scholars, have supported institutional advances within these fields, or have been particularly effective at dissemination of these fields to public and professional practices.
