J-WEL Education Innovation Grants Awarded
CRE won two J-WEL Grants in Education Innovation Program. MIT J-WEL is “particularly interested in innovations rooted in MIT’s research and practice with the potential for generating high impact on higher education globally.”
This is the first time the Center has received such awards. Last Fall, with the support of Associate Director, Lisa Thoma, Fiscal Officer, Cheryl Gillespie, and MIT SUL Researcher Fabio Duarte, the Center established the grant application support system. Since then, multiple grant applications have been submitted and their efforts have started bear fruit.
Congratulations to the projects below:
- “Digital Design Sketching for Real Estate Development Proposals”, (PI: Kairos Shen)
- “Case studies for the future: autonomous vehicles, cities and real estate”, (PI: Fábio Duarte; co-PIs: Siqi Zheng and Jinhua Zhao)
