B.A. Computer Engineering from Dartmouth College
Adam joins MIT after leading sales and marketing for single family residential developer, Evermore Homes. Adam grew up working as a third-generation member of his family business, Dorn Homes, and helped grow it into Northern Arizona’s largest home builder. In 2021, he assisted with selling the company to a holding company, American Southern Homes, and joined the acquirer’s corporate team as their first National Director of Marketing. In that role, he oversaw the expansion of their 3 owned brands in 4 states, resulting in the company being named a top 100 national builder in 2022. Most recently, he led the design of new floorplans, guided the development of 5 new communities representing 1,500 lots, and led the rebrand of the company to Evermore Homes. Through his experience developing and selling residential communities, Adam has gained a deep appreciation for the positive impacts that real estate development can have on a community. At MIT, Adam is excited to learn from his peers, professors, and industry partners at the Center for Real Estate, and aims to extend his development knowledge into commercial and mixed-use projects.
Adam earned a B.A. in Computer Engineering from Dartmouth College, where he was awarded the Thayer School of Engineering Faculty Prize for Service to Humanity for his work designing and developing a mobile application to make regional public transportation more accessible. Adam grew up in Arizona and currently lives in Cambridge with his wife, Sophia.
