Chris is an MIT/MSRED graduate from the class 2023. He joined MIT as a dual degree student, piloting a dual MBA/MSRED program, with four years of experience in commercial real estate lending at Wells Fargo. During his time at Wells Fargo, Chris actively managed a portfolio of loans that grew to $700 million and underwrote over $1 billion in loans across various asset classes. His job was to originate, underwrite and structure construction, bridge and permanent debt capital across the country for public/private institutional quality commercial real estate developers, investors and private equity fund sponsors. He also worked closely with the development of financial analysts new to the Real Estate Banking group.
Chris is motivated by the goal of developing projects that improve the fabric of the community and that are also financially productive. He loves the challenge of real estate development given it is a multifaceted business that involves negotiation, design, envisioning future trends, construction, and finance, all within the context of working with a large collaborative project team.
Chris grew up in Bethesda, MD and attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME where he earned a B.A. in Economics and Government & Legal Studies. He now lives in Hingham, MA with his wife. Chris is an avid runner, golfer and fisherman who enjoys spending time on the water whenever possible.
