As a M.S. Real Estate Development and Master in City Planning dual degree candidate, Faith intends to implement sustainable real estate development that adds high, long-term value to communities and thoughtfully responds to the climate crisis. Ten years of experience working in private, public, and nonprofit sectors of the building industry, specifically in design and construction project management, contribute to a creative yet pragmatic approach to development.
Most recently, Faith collaboratively managed the execution of LEED-certified healthcare and commercial building projects throughout greater Washington, DC. She previously contributed to management of NYCHA’s recovery and resiliency program to restore housing developments damaged by Hurricane Sandy in New York. Similarly in Louisiana, Faith worked with New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity leading construction of new affordable homes post-Hurricane Katrina as an AmeriCorps Direct National Service member. Her undergraduate education in architecture at the University of Virginia inspires a career engaged in addressing critical societal challenges by way of innovative design thinking and purposeful building practice.
