Greg joins MIT after spending the last five years with TA Realty, where he participated in the preparation, negotiation and disposition of over $8.0 billion of commercial real estate. As the only Associate on the Disposition Team, he was able to gain firsthand transactional experience on over 150 commercial real estate transactions, which included both single assets as well as multi-asset portfolios. These transactions most notably included a $1.04 billion distribution and logistics portfolio totaling over 8 million square feet across 96 individual assets, an $855 million office and industrial portfolio totaling over 9 million square feet across 45 assets, as well as, a $418 million 40-story Class A office tower located in Boston, Massachusetts.
Greg’s experience within the Portfolio Management Department at TA Realty exposed him to a large volume of financial analysis, deal structuring, legal contracts and negotiations. Prior to this, Greg worked for three years in the Underwriting and Asset Management Departments at a national balance sheet lender with a focus on short-term debt and preferred equity real estate investments.
Having had experience on both the equity and debt sides of the commercial real estate industry, Greg is excited to continue expanding his knowledge at MIT’s Center for Real Estate to include the physical development of real assets as well as the integration and implementation of the ever-evolving property technology space.
Greg is originally from Upstate New York, eventually moving to Boston to pursue a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and American History at Bentley University.
