M.Arch from Tongji University, China
Yujian, who has experienced urban transformation, sees the different living conditions of people in different environments. He believes that it is his duty to create a better living space for people and pursues the sustainable development of the city.
Yujian got a B.eng and an M.Arch from Tongji University, China. Over eight years of studying Architecture, he enthusiastically explored various types of design and gained insight into every stakeholder to prepare for the complex and at times arbitrary demands that arise in the process of shaping and enhancing a city.
With the aim to gain further experience in the field of real estate, Yujian kickstarted his career as a Design Management Trainee in Shanghai after graduating from his studies. In the past two years, he has exercised management and leadership abilities through life-cycle project management, as well as logical thinking skills and capacity for innovation through innovative research projects, such as Future City, an cutting-edge research project aiming to suggest new ways to create value for enterprises, governments, and residents during the downturn of China’s real estate industry.
Yujian joined MIT, hoping to enrich his knowledge in proptech and real estate finance, and create the value brought by the city for all stakeholders in a more effective and scientific way.
