Prior to joining MIT, Kibong spent seven years at PineStreet, a Korea based asset management company that invests in overseas alternative investment assets with approximately USD5 billion of assets under management.
At PineStreet, Kibong primarily focused on infrastructure and real estate investment opportunities, and was involved in transactions such as the financing of Carlsbad Desalination Plant and the management of the Aoyama Building investment.
At MIT, Kibong plans to learn advanced real estate investment strategies and techniques that will help him become a more sophisticated real estate investor and asset manager.
