Ocean has a diverse background in marketing, property management, and urbanism. He is deeply interested in how innovation occurs in the built environment. As an advocate for reframing real estate development as a design process, his work at MIT explores how technology and design can be implemented to develop high-performance real estate assets. He holds an interdisciplinary bachelor of science from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a master’s in urban technology from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia.
