Born and raised in Mumbai, Rahul joins MIT with over ten years of experience in real estate fundraising advisory role in India. Over the years, he has gained expertise in financing structures through debt, equity, and structured finance across various sectors including real estate, hotels, hospitals, infrastructure, and renewable energy.
He has learned the ropes of real estate finance through his stint at a boutique Investment Banking firm based in Mumbai. Before joining the MSRED program, he was part of a start-up advisory firm building the real estate advisory practice. Before his investment banking stint, Rahul did his MBA in finance from the University of Mumbai, India. At MIT, Rahul intends to gain exposure to real estate investments and sustainable development in developed economies.
He is passionate about cricket having played professional cricket during school and college days. He also enjoys table tennis, music, and traveling.
