B.S., Management, Rutgers University
Hailing from Saddle River, New Jersey, Reilly joins the Center for Real Estate community to establish himself as an entrepreneur and future industry leader. At MIT, he will supplement his experience with a diverse set of development skills that will help him provide solutions to challenges within the built environment. In particular, he is interested in the role technology and innovation play towards creating business disruption and how to leverage data to create greater utility for both local communities and industry.
Prior to attending MIT, Reilly served on active duty as a Logistics Readiness Officer and Air Advisor in the United States Air Force. As a captain, Reilly served three overseas tours spanning the globe and was selected to command a 229-member detachment. As detachment commander, he was directly responsible for deterring North Korean aggression by leading the development of a co-located US-South Korean Air Base, as well as the sustainment of $1.3 billion of infrastructure and war reserve materiel assets. Preceding his military service, Reilly earned his stripes working for his family’s real estate development organization.
Reilly graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Management and minor in Planning & Public Policy from Rutgers Business School, New Brunswick. He has been awarded this year’s MIT Center for Real Estate Prologis Fellowship. Aside from the good stuff, if Reilly isn’t spilling his favorite cup of tea, you’ll probably find him lacing his boots for his next climb or seeking out the best lobster roll in town.
