Wilson is a qualified young professional with a strong passion in impact RE investment/development. He enters MIT to pursue the MSRED with the goal of expanding knowledge & skill sets in Commercial RE investment/funds and deeper understanding of building environmental challenge, regional development policy, and quantitative tools to visualize the market change & population need.

Prior to joining MIT, Wilson graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with double majors in Finance, Investment, & Banking and Real Estate with a certificate in Mathematics. He was a selected candidate of the Applied Equity Market Research program, a highly competitive one-year practitioner-taught investment management topic program focused on business model analysis, valuation approaches, market study, DD, field research, and preparing professional-level equity investment.

While as an undergraduate candidate, Wilson actively conducted career preparation. He was interned in PwC (China) as a summer analyst, facilitating the asset management optimization of the Qingdao International Airport Construction project ($50 Billion). He was also interned in the asset management team of CITIC Securities International, assisting financial analysis include but not limit to Valuation/DCF, Due Diligence research, Credit Investigation, Risk analysis for corporate clients. He was also a financial analyst at the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate in UW-Madison.

After graduation, he joined J. Jeffers &Co., a Midwest developer with special interests in historic rehabilitation and tax credit incentives, as an acquisition/investment analyst. He has leveraged his skills in quantitative financial underwriting by creating valuation tools and models to evaluate real estate investment opportunities. He participated in core deal and capital sourcing, legal/tax-structuring, and deal transactions (roughly $150M), as well as developing and executing the vision and investment/business strategy for the company’s pipeline of new projects through and including permanent conversion.
