Bachelor of Landscape Architecture & Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Economics), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Hannah joins MIT with a keen interest in anthropic landscapes and the socioeconomic impacts of ex-urban development. Drawing from her international design experience in a landscape architecture firm, she is passionate about enhancing the value of ex-urban landscapes and natural assets to support the development of equitable and resilient communities. Before joining DUSP, Hannah contributed to international commercial and master planning projects at a landscape architecture firm.
Currently pursuing a dual degree alongside her Master in City Planning at MIT, Hannah aims to work with sub-national organizations to bridge the gap between national and local resource management frameworks. At MIT, she is eager to deepen her understanding of chronic risk in physical infrastructure and development, and to explore effective methods for communicating these risks to the development market.
