I specialize in real estate acquisitions across Japan, currently serving as an Associate Director at Invesco Real Estate Asia Pacific. My focus lies in identifying and underwriting institutional-grade commercial assets in key Japanese markets.
In 2019, I completed the MSRED program at MIT, supported by a fellowship from the Samuel Tak Lee Entrepreneurship Lab. My thesis, supervised by Professor David Geltner, developed pure-play property return indices based on Japanese REITs—an experience that deeply shaped my analytical approach to real estate investment and remains one of the most formative learning journeys of my career.
Before pivoting to real estate finance, I worked as an urban designer at Japan’s largest architectural and planning firm. The MSRED program enabled a transformative career shift, equipping me with the interdisciplinary tools to move from city-making to capital markets.
In my current role, I draw on both design and financial frameworks to assess long-term value and resilience in Japan’s built environment. I remain committed to bridging perspectives between global capital and local urban contexts.
