The MIT MSRED–MCP dual degree program was instrumental in launching my career at the intersection of real estate and technology. Through hands-on research at the former MIT Real Estate Innovation Lab, I co-led the development of the inaugural MIT Technology Tracker, an initiative that mapped the evolution of built environment technology across decades. My thesis applied time series analysis to study long-term tech trends in the built environment. The program’s flexibility also allowed me to take coursework in computer science and other interdisciplinary fields outside the Center for Real Estate, deepening my technical skills and broadening my perspective. Together, these experiences equipped me with the tools to lead research-driven innovation in today’s real estate industry.
