Binzhe is a Ph.D. candidate in urban and regional economics. She’s interested in urban and spatial economics. Her dissertation studies the consumer amenities in cities, such as restaurants and bars, and how people create, discover and interact with these places. She’s also interested in the evolution of these physical spaces in cities interacting with the digitalization of consumer experiences.
Binzhe possesses master’s degrees in Regional Planning and Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University. Before coming to the United States, Binzhe studied urban and rural planning at Peking University.
