Denise has been part of the MIT Center for Real Estate since 2022, where she solicits industry engagement and co-hosts major events, including the World Real Estate Forum (2023–2024) and the Center’s 40th Anniversary celebration in 2025. She also initiated and helped launch the Meet the Visionaries podcast in 2024, giving MSRED students opportunities to learn directly from industry leaders. In addition to her programmatic role, Denise serves as a part-time Career Services Officer, supporting students in navigating internships and job interviews.
Previously, Denise was a Principal at Spaulding & Slye (acquired by JLL), where she spent nearly 15 years leading business development initiatives across Commercial, Government, and Institutional clients in Boston and Washington, D.C.
Her notable projects include:
- The NIH Dale & Betty Bumpers Vaccine Project Center, the nation’s first AIDS vaccine institute.
- Supporting the development of the MIT Lincoln Laboratory expansion and MITRE HQ consolidation.
- Leading marketing, PR, and leasing strategy for the $500M One Twenty Five High Street Development in Boston.
Denise holds a BA in Government from Wheaton College (MA), where she serves on the President’s Commission. She is also a member of the Corporation Board of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). Outside of work, you can often find her on the tennis court.
