Nicole Zaccack is a real estate developer with a background in architecture, blending design and development to create impactful, community-focused projects. At Jonathan Rose Companies, she manages mixed-use affordable housing developments across the U.S., including large-scale, sustainable projects like Sendero Verde in Harlem and 1999 in Los Angeles. Her work emphasizes collaboration across sectors, social equity, and the integration of research-driven strategies to address systemic housing challenges.
The MIT MSRED program was foundational in shaping my approach to socially impactful development. Its interdisciplinary curriculum and emphasis on research gave me the tools to set and measure meaningful ESG goals in real estate. Through the program, I engaged deeply with community-driven design and finance strategies that I now implement in my daily work. Most importantly, the program fostered my leadership by connecting me with a national network of thought leaders committed to equitable development.
