Shawn Callahan

Shawn joined MIT Center for Real Estate in early 2025 and is currently the Financial and Administrative Assistant. Two days per week, Shawn helps the CRE staff members with fiscal-related functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and provides administrative support to ensure operational efficiency. 

Shawn brings to his work at CRE experience in accounting and budget management at various banking institutions. On the three weekdays he is not at the CRE, he works at MIT D-Lab in a similar capacity.

Shawn studied finance and economics at the University of South Carolina. He is originally from the North Shore of Massachusetts, where he spends his free time watching hockey with his family and playing trivia with his peers.
