Simon Camilo Büchler is a Research Scientist and Director of the Price Dynamics Platform at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Center for Real Estate. Dr. Büchler has been active in applying economic research to the real estate industry. His research interests include finance, urban, public, and real estate economics. Dr. Büchler received a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the University of St. Gallen and a Ph.D. from the University of Bern. His thesis focused on how economic forces affect the real estate market.
